Time has transformed our city but reminders of the past still can be found. One of the most notable is Toronto's majestic
Castle, Casa Loma and step back in time to a period of European elegance and splendour. The former home of Canadian financier
Sir Henry Pellatt now a museum. There are other great estate homes like Spadina, Oakland, Woodlawn and Wychwood still stand
and can be visited on our tour. Others such as Rose Hill, Summerhill, Deer Park, Benvenuto, Ardwold, Glen Edyth, Russell Hill
and Davenport are remembered in street and neighbourhood names only. (We do not visit the interiors of any of these homes.)
This tour we will start at the southeast corner of Yonge and St. Clair and then follow the escarpment west. This Toronto Walking
Tour last two hours. Cost $25 per person.
