Take a scenic walking tour with Bill Genova as part of the Cabbagetown Festival. Youll hear the history of Old Cabbagetown and view the romantic Victorian architecture. The irony is that Cabbagetown was a working class slum of Irish immigrants and now most of us couldnt afford to live in this Tony neighbourhood. Well meet at 10 a.m. in front of the Winchester Hotel located at 537 Parliament St at the corner of Winchester. We will take in the Grand Parade as it travels down Parliament St and then do our tour. When you are there you can take in the Arts & Crafts Show at Riverdale Park and the exhibits and shows on Parliament as well.
