This is a three act Foodie Tour. First we'll taste Chinese food that contributes to one of the great mother cuisines of the world. Act two we'll experience the various cuisines that can be found in Kensington from Jewish to Portuguese, Mexican to Middle East. Act three youll learn of the history of the area from when the Indians soft shoed through the area, followed by the French, British, English, Jewish, Portuguese, Hungarian, and Blacks.
If you like food and history of Toronto then this is the tour for you. We will visit in the area more than a bakers dozen of food shops. You'll have the opportunity to taste many Chinese and Vietnamese items, as well as cheeses, fruits, baked goods, candies and breads youll find at the market. Many of the owners will tell you details of the foods you we'll be eating.
