If you have seen the movie by Wooden Allen called Midnight in Paris you know of an American writer’s experience in travelling to the past, namely the 1920’s and meeting with a cast of intellectuals, painters and writers from that era. I tried for several nights to find that square that was the starting point of his adventures but alas I never did. However I did seek out a H. G. Wells who lived on the Rue de Memories and he agreed to let me use his time machine. It worked. I ended up in the Paris of the past and Cannes as well. I managed to take a few pictures for you to enjoy.
