If you grew up in Toronto chances are you spent some time at one of Toronto's most storied watering hole. We are going back to the newly renovated Brunswick House in the Annex. You'll hardly recognize the place. It has been gentrified, but you can still get the feeling of all those college dazes when you went there for a brew. It took a Greek to do it and Jimmy Georgoulis will be our host for the evening. The fun as always starts at 5 p.m.
A historical note about the Brunswick House. It was established in 1876, making it 127 years old. It is in fact the 2nd oldest Tavern in Toronto. The oldest? The Wheat Sheaf located at Bathurst and King.
The Brunswick House is located at 481 Bloor St West at naturally the corner of Brunswick. That is three blocks west of Spadina or three blocks east of Bathurst. Take your pick.
It should be a lot of fun, and if your can fit into your old college sweater why not wear it.
