You'll hear the history and view the charming back streets and homes of Old Cabbagetown with their romantic Victorian architecture.
Cabbagetown has the largest collection of Victorian homes in North America. This is where Protestant Irish working men lived.
We will travel south passing through Corktown where the Catholic Irish lived to visit Gooderham & Worts in the Distillery
district where many worked. This Distillery was the largest Distillery in the British Empire and had over 88 buildings that
made up the complex. Today it has been converted into a pedestrian mall with shops, restaurants and galleries. Meet at the
northeast corner of Wellesley and Parliament.
