From Hippie to Tony neighbourhood.

This tour is of historic Yorkville that once included the south part of Rosedale. It visits the jail that still stands on Yorkville, Frogley's Bakery that eventually became Canada Bread, the Carnegie Library, the first Mt. Sinai Hospital, and Potters Cemetery. You'll also hear of the two breweries owned by Messrs Bloor and Severn, walk through the Yorkville's brickworks that now is a park, visit and hear commentary about the beautiful Victorian homes that still stand in Yorkville and Rosedale. Meet at the the north east corner of Bloor and Bedford at agreed time. Your guide is Bill Genova historian, tour guide and storyteller. It last two hours and cost $30 pp. A minimum of two people are required.
